I read Take Me Home in one sitting, and I did enjoy it a lot. I have to agree with you about the push and pull - they've been friends for SO LONG and you'd think they know each other better by now, but I also thought about how hurt Evan had been in his relationship with Dennis and Kyle's inability to commit. Fear of being hurt again and fear of commitment aren't things that you get over in one or two conversations, so I gave them both the benefit of the doubt. As for Dennis, I really didn't like him much. I softened towards him when he had the conversation with Kyle, but really, I didn't like the way he ended things with Evan. He could've handled it better and not broken the poor kid's heart so badly. They were together for TEN YEARS. That's a long time. But I really enjoyed the book a lot, as I do all of Ms. Parker's work. :) |

Nancy, I have noticed this as well and I am not sure what is going on. It's not just her is seems to be all of them from this publisher, not sure if they are just trying to publish to quickly and aren't taking the time to edit before they publish but it's getting really bad. |
